Magical debut for local dance company

The region’s newest dance school, Tutu Dance Company, brings their debut concert Believe to Margaret River HEART on Saturday 11 December.

With performers as young as two years old from Cowaramup, Margaret River and surrounds, audiences will be captivated by the stories they tell through dance.

HEART General Manager Nicky Hansen said ticket sales soared to a record high, selling over 250 tickets online in the first half an hour of going on sale.

“For folk wishing to see their kids, grandkids, friends or family on stage at the HEART, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance to avoid the disappointment of missing out,” Ms Hansen said.

Tutu Dance Company is operated by local sisters Annelise and Therese Colman, who grew up in Margaret River and have been heavily involved in the region’s performing arts scene from a young age.

After nearly a decade away from the region to study and perform both nationally and internationally, the Coleman sisters have returned to the South West to share their passion for the performing arts.

Believe is a compilation of classical ballet, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, and jazz in a dynamic performance that will make you believe in magic.

Limited seats are available via margaretriverheart.com.au or by calling the Box Office on 08 9780 5294 between 10am and 4pm from Monday to Friday.
