No sweeter time to support local businesses
Family owned and operated business Bettenay’s Margaret River Nougat Co. have partnered with Margaret River HEART, adding a selection of their scrumptious nougat bars to the venue’s menu of locally produced sweet treats.
Following the HEART’s collaboration with Millers Ice Creamery and the development of their infamous Choc Bomb last year, HEART Event Support Team Assistant Ian Smith said the team was eager to offer more locally made products.
“Supporting local traders and choosing local produce can trigger a cycle of benefits that help create a thriving community,” he said.
“We offer a range of local products at the bar and kiosk and our local treats are always a favourite with cinema-goers.”
Bettenay’s Owner Terri Bettenay said their decadent range of nougat is created from the finest local produce – onsite in their nougat kitchen on Tom Cullity Drive.
“Our nougat recipe is French inspired with a creaminess and chewiness like no other. It is hand made in small batches to ensure the nougat is always of the highest standard,” Terri said.
“The Honey and Toasted Almond Nougat and Cranberry and Pistachio Nougat are well-known favourites and we’re delighted to showcase them at the HEART.”
