Family friendly fun for literary festival

TICKETS are selling fast for this weekend’s Margaret River Readers and Writers Festival, but there are still plenty of opportunities to experience the festival fun at free and ticketed events.

The Storytelling Snug outside Margaret River HEART will also offer free family fun and entertainment across the weekend. Meet the Young Readers and Writers Program authors for storytelling, creative drawing and imagination sessions running from 10am – 4pm.

Check the timetable outside for updates on sessions and timings. Sessions cannot be pre-booked, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

On the HEART Foyer balcony, check out the Wilding Stories Listening Lounge. The free audio installation showcases writer and producer Margot Edwards’ collaboration with a group of diverse storytellers to produce three multidimensional audio versions of her original tale. Registration is required, visit website for times and details.
