Joshua Kirschbaum-Mau Exhibition
Next event Thursday 4 Mar from 10am to 4pm
Joshua is a storyteller and concept artist who creates intricate science fiction/fantasy worlds, creatures, and characters.
In February 2021 Margaret River HEART will be presenting Joshua’s first solo exhibition in the Foyer Gallery. The exhibition will display a multitude of his wonderful character, creature and costume designs that are rendered in colour pencil and digital drawings which are created using a stylus pen, computer tablet and graphic design software.
These drawings contribute to building Joshua’s fictional worlds, which in the future, he hopes to bring to life using traditional 2d animation.
Joshua’s stories and characters reflect his experiences of growing up with Asperger’s. His protagonists often have extraordinary sensory, perceptual and intellectual skills and are social outcasts with high integrity. Joshua overcomes his own social barriers by expressing himself through his meaningful and magical worlds that inspire and enchant.
Come along and help Joshua celebrate the official opening of his exhibition.
