Music Program

Classical Locals Night

The [email protected] Music Program is a unique mix of music, learning and art, where local musicians will perform, artists can collaborate on exhibitions, and free workshops will be delivered to the community across three music genres – world music, folk and classical.

Our third program is all about the classical genre. Professional musicians will work alongside local musicians in the community to support homegrown talent, homegrown music and create homegrown employment and skills development opportunities.

The first classical concert features the homegrown musicians of South West Baroque Ensemble, who will open the Australian Baroque Vivaldi Masterworks’ professional touring show on September 17. While the second concert on November 19 is all about classical performers in the region.

Make sure you arrive early to catch foyer entertainment performed by local musicians before the show! Doors open one hour prior to each performance.

The South West region has a strong penchant for music and a strong desire to support locals on the stage. Come along and  support the creative industries and help celebrate homegrown WA talent!

[email protected] is supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DGLSCI) Regional Arts and Cultural Investment Program (RACIP) ‘In the House’ grants program.  The funding enables this new multi-genre [email protected] Music Program to host twelve musical performances across 2021 and 2022 calendar years.
