Australian Baroque Vivaldi Masterworks

Australian Baroque has made a name for itself in Perth with their creative projects and immersive performances. From Fringe World to Space exploration, their musical genius has grasped the attention of thousands of eager audience members across Perth. Now, they are bringing their world-class ensemble to Margaret River for the [email protected] music program.

The Australian Baroque ensemble formed in December of 2018, consisting of incredible WA-based artists and international performers. Directors and lead violinists, Helen Kruger, Sarah Papadopoulos and Antony Brian have teamed up to create versatile performative experiences, from Vivaldi by Candlelight to Bach and Beer. Australian Baroque aims to influence both regional and metropolitan communities with both an educational and entertaining variety of programs.

Their historically inspired presentations have captivated the eyes of a broad and diverse audience. Education and emersion has also been a vital aspect of the organisations message. School programs and development workshops has contributed to Australian Baroques pursuit to spread the joy and excitement of music.

Australian Baroque is a new and innovative ensemble. Australian Baroque presents an awe-inspiring program for string orchestra, with fiery works by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi. Australian Baroque has performed Vivaldi to over 15,000 people in Perth this year alone, and this concert promises to be a family favourite.

South West Baroque Ensemble

This is a name we coined for ourselves about nine years ago when a group of musicians in the Margaret River-Dunsborough area started playing together. Over these years we have given concerts in various venues in the region about three times a year raising money for a variety of charities.

There are three remaining musicians from the original group: Richard Clark, our keyboard player who does his best to organise us and find music suitable for us to play; Sabine Kozlowski, flute and baroque flute; and Chloe Lovelidge oboe. Our wonderfully talented recorder player Peter Cole died last year, leaving us with a large musical deficit.

However, like the eternal cycle of life and death, Kate Telchadder a hugely talented local violinist then joined us. We enlist other players, usually from the Philharmonic South West Orchestra to play cello or viola

"Breathtaking, stunning, and absolutely amazing."
